The City Square Project could be the catalyst for the much needed regeneration of Union Street. It could make the City Centre safer and more accessible; the concourse level would provide access to Aberdeen rail and bus stations, the Green and Union Square. It could be a place where everyone can gather and enjoy.
Several plans and options for Union Terrace Gardens have been suggested over the years, but none have ever materialised. This time we have done our homework. We have a real chance of delivering a step change in Aberdeen City Centre.
